Concept of Humanity in Perspective of Religious: Study at State University of Medan

This study aims to analyze how the concept of humanity in the perspective of religion and how an individual applies it in their lives with a case study on students at State University of Medan. The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis that uses literature studies and questionnaires that are swathed online to the resource persons. The research population is students of the State University of Medan with a sample of students who are considered to represent every religion in the university. The results of the study show that the dimensions of the concept of humanity in the perspective of the 5 major religions in Indonesia have similarities and differences. The level of religiosity of State University of Medan students in understanding the concept of humanity in accordance with their beliefs is diverse. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the concept of human beings in each major religion and is expected to be a reference for academics, religious leaders, and policymakers in developing educational programs and humanitarian character.
